Windows clean enough that you notice the view again.
Interior and exterior window cleaning across the Shenandoah Valley. We handle the tracks, the sills, the screens, and every pane - and we do it without the ladder-and-squeegee chaos that the DIY version ends in.
What this service actually is
Professional window cleaning covers interior and exterior glass on every accessible window. Our standard service is glass cleaning - sills and screens can be added on request. We use professional extension tools to reach second-story windows safely from the ground.
We handle interior and exterior glass cleaning across your home. Most of our customers schedule us twice a year: once in late spring after the Valley pollen settles, and once in early fall before the leaves start to fly.
For two-story homes, our team brings the right ladders, the right extension tools, and the right safety gear to do the job without damaging your landscaping or your siding. DIY window cleaning on a second story is one of the most dangerous things a homeowner can attempt - this is the kind of service where professionals earn their rate.
What's included
Every job comes with a clear, specific scope - no vague “we'll clean” promises. Here's exactly what a standard window cleaning job covers:
- Interior glass cleaned and polished
- Exterior glass cleaned and polished
- Window sills cleaned (on request)
- Screens cleaned (on request)
- Second-story exterior windows reached with extension tools
- Streak-free polish on every pane
- Final walk-through with you
Need something added? Just ask when we walk through before we start. Every job is customized to your home.
How it works - from the first call to the walk-through
Four steps from booking to done. No surprises, no upsell pressure, no “that'll be extra” on your way out the door.
Quote by window count
Window cleaning pricing is based on the number of windows, stories, and whether you want interior, exterior, or both. We give a specific per-window number up front.
Scheduled around Valley seasons
Most customers book us twice a year: late spring (after pollen) and early fall (before leaf drop). We can also do one-offs for special occasions or real estate listings.
Glass, tracks, screens, all of it
Our team handles the full scope - glass, tracks, sills, screens - in a single visit. We're not there just to do the easy panes.
Walk-through
At the end of the visit we walk the exterior with you and the interior with you. If we missed a spot or left a streak, we fix it before we leave.
Why Valley neighbors choose Lambert for this
Every cleaning company in the Valley claims to care about quality. Here's what actually makes our approach to window cleaning different:
Twice-a-year scheduling
Most Valley homes do best with a spring and fall window cleaning. We handle the scheduling automatically once we know that's your cadence - no need to remember to call us twice a year.
Second-story capable
Two-story exterior windows are handled safely with professional extension tools from the ground. No risk to your landscaping or siding.
Bundled with soft washing
Spring cleaning season is a natural pairing with our soft wash house washing. Customers book both and get the full exterior refresh in one visit.

Questions we get asked a lot
Are sills and screens included?
Sills and screens are available on request as add-ons to our standard glass cleaning service. Just let us know when you book and we will include them in your quote.
How much does window cleaning cost?
Per window, based on the number of windows, number of stories, and whether you want interior-only, exterior-only, or both. Our quote form will get you a specific number.
How often should windows be cleaned?
Most Valley homes do best with twice-a-year cleaning - spring (after pollen) and fall (before leaves). Homes near heavy tree cover or dusty roads may benefit from more frequent service.
What if it rains right after you clean?
Clean rainwater doesn't typically undo a professional window cleaning - it's dirty rain (pollen-laden, acid rain, or rain through a tree canopy) that causes spotting. If weather ruins a clean within 48 hours, let us know and we'll come back for a touch-up.
Do you work on stormy or windy days?
Second-story exterior work on windy days is a safety issue and we'll reschedule. Ground-level work is usually fine in normal conditions. If weather prevents us from coming on your scheduled day we'll reschedule to the earliest available slot.
