GENERAL POLICIES

I acknowledge that by accepting and booking any proposal with Lambert Cleaning I am providing my digital signature attesting that I have read and agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. I further understand that terms and conditions may be subject to change due to rising cost or other factors at anytime.

SAFETY:

KEYS AND ALARM SYSTEMS:

Most Lambert Cleaning customers leave a key to their home with us or in a hidden/secure location.  We are very careful to protect each key and safeguard the entrusted access to your property. We assign each customer’s keys with a security code and store them in a key safe. No personal identifying information is ever put on any key. If you have an alarm system, please give access instructions to your Lambert Cleaning. 

EMPLOYEES:

Our cleaning professionals are very important to us, and we are very serious about keeping them safe. Our professionals do not use ladders or move anything heavier than 35 lbs. These types of activities put our employees in danger of a fall or back injury. If you would like us to clean behind large appliances like a refrigerator, oven or sofa, please move it prior to our cleaning professionals arrival so we may have access to the desired area.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE:

Our team has the choice to leave upon arrival if the home is in extreme condition or our team feels unsafe/threatened and if there is any evidence of infestation that may cause harm/contamination to a future customer. If you book a service for a home that is not reasonable, such as a cleaning up after a large party, our team may refuse service on the spot and you will forfeit your deposit and may be liable for a cancellation fee as deemed necessary based on the situation.

BLEACH:

We do use bleach as a cleaning product in homes and businesses. Please be aware that we will not be responsible for any damage caused by its use. Should you require the use of alternative products please request those when booking your service.

CANCELLATION:

If you need to cancel service or skip a cleaning day, just give Lambert Cleaning 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled cleaning. Your notice will allow us to reassign the cleaning professional to other appointments as necessary. If Lambert Cleaning’s crew cannot access your home/office or is turned away the day of service a $75 no access charge will be imposed for your cleaning ($100 for commercial customers) and your cleaning will need to be rescheduled or held until the next scheduled appointment interval. All services cancelled same day will incur a $50.00 cancellation fee ($75 for commercial customers). Should you be paying / using promotional products for your scheduled service those promotional products may be subject to revocation/cancellation

ARRIVAL NOTICE:

If you would like to wait for your cleaning Professional to give them access into your home, please note that you will be given 1 hour arrival window surrounding your specific appointment. If your appointment is scheduled at 1:30PM we ask for you to be available between 12:30PM and 2:30PM. Many things can affect our arrival time, such as cancellations, lockouts or customers adding services, so in most cases a smaller arrival window can’t be provided. We want to save you time, not make you waste it waiting for us to arrive. Leaving a key or access instructions for Lambert Cleaning ensures that your cleaning professional will have access to your home and you won’t have to wait for us. 

ARRIVAL DAY/TIME:

Lambert Cleaning makes every effort to consistently schedule a predetermined set day that we arrive for each cleaning. If for any reason we need to reschedule due to staff illness or other unforeseen circumstances, we will give you as much notice as possible. We may also adjust arrival times of appointments up to 24 hours before the service is conducted. This adjustment helps us ensure we can reduce travel and wait time for all appointments and provide you the most affordable pricing for your service.

PAYMENTS:

Lambert Cleaning gladly accepts the following forms of payment:

Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card and Personal/Business Checks

Payment is due upon receipt of services for all residential customers and each will be required to place a credit card number on file to schedule a cleaning service. For all customers, in the event that payment is not received and we do have a credit card on file, your credit card will be charged to satisfy the full outstanding balance on any invoice that goes into a past due status. A $35 fee is applied for all returned checks. If you have left instructions to charge a card after each service, your account will be charged the balance due, plus any fees or additional services added for extra services performed – this charge can occur either at the service time/date or after the fact by Lambert Cleaning. Commercial clients standard payment terms are Net 15, unless otherwise negotiated. Changes in terms must be requested in writing by the client and approved by Lambert Cleaning management. In the event payment is not received on a commercial invoice, 20 days after the due date and customer has a contract/agreement in place for regular services, the customer will be considered in breach of the contract/agreement. Lambert Cleaning reserves the right to suspend or terminate all services on the agreement until payment is satisfied.

In the event agreement is terminated the termination will be considered as initiated by the customer and the early termination clause of the agreement will govern. Agreement will remain in full force and customer acknowledges that they will be responsible for any collections related expenses including attorney and other fees to satisfy all open invoices, up to and including the early termination invoice issued. In the event Lambert Cleaning chooses to suspend services until invoice payments are caught up all services that are suspended will be invoiced and issued to the customer per the agreement terms on the invoice issue frequency specified in the agreement terms. Suspensions and terminations of agreement related to a breach initiated by the customer are determined on a case by case basis. Customers will be notified via email, phone and/or USPS mailing of the service status change depending on the communication needs determined by Lambert Cleaning staff. Breach of agreement may be reversed by Lambert Cleaning staff with due reason or prompt complete payment of outstanding invoices and regular services will commence from the date the breach was reversed. At no time will the contract/agreement be considered null and void and all terms agreed to within will govern the remainder of the term or subsequent renewal terms.

LATE PAYMENTS, CREDIT CARD PROCESSING & FEES
All late invoices will be subject to service charges of 1.5% per month (18% per annum), with a minimum charge of $5.00. Late fees will begin accruing the day after the invoice due date and will be applied every 30 days after the initial late fee is applied. The customer is responsible for any and all collections related expenses which includes, though not limited to, Lambert Cleaning attorney fees incurred related to the collection of unpaid invoices. By processing a credit or debit card payment I acknowledge that my payment information will be securely vaulted/saved to our PCI Compliant systems for convenience of processing future transactions on my account per the outlined payment processing terms above. 

100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE:

Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. Since we always want you to be 100% satisfied, just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to make it right. 

TIPPING:

Lambert Cleaning never requires you to tip, but it is a powerful way to say thanks to your cleaning professional. Even a personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal.

REFERRAL FEE:

Lambert Cleaning invests in the recruitment and training of the best cleaning professional we can find. Our professional are so great that occasionally people ask if they can hire or use them directly. If you wish to hire or use a present or past member outside of Lambert Cleaning to negotiate a lower rate or cash payment our referral fee is $2,500. This fee is due within 30 days of notification from Lambert Cleaning should any past or present employee provided services rendered directly to you outside of Lambert Cleaning. If the fee is not paid, Lambert Cleaning reserves the right to pursue other methods of collection.

REFERRAL CREDIT:

Lambert Cleaning values the word of mouth referrals that our customers provided. As a result we have developed a referral credit program. This program will provide the referring customer and the referred customer a $25 credit towards their next service. Referral credit has no cash value and must be applied to a future service. Limit of 1 credit per referred customer. Referring customer will receive a $25 credit for each new customer that is referred and who receives service.

BREAKAGE AND LOSS:

Lambert Cleaning is bonded and insured. Our liability limits are set at a maximum of 5 times the total invoiced cost of the service on the day in which the breakage/loss occurred. Notification must be made within 48 hours of service where loss occurred, notification after 48 hours cannot be covered by Lambert Cleaning, LLC. Key replacement or locksmith fees are paid only if keys are lost or by Lambert Cleaning. There is a $100 per location liability limit for re-keying or key replacement.

DIGITAL MEDIA:

Occasionally we like to take before and after pictures of your home. Interior pictures will be for our reference only and will not be publicized without your consent. Interior images will be focused on the room and or damage we may find and will not be focused on personal property unless it is your personal property that was damaged and is required by our insurance to process a claim. If we wish to use pictures of the interior of your home, we will contact you directly before doing so. Exterior pictures of your home we would like to use for possible advertisement on such places like our website, Facebook, Porch.com and so forth. If we decide to use any exterior images of your home, we may contact you as a courtesy but is not required. At no point will any image include images of any person living in the home. We do respect your right to privacy.

PROMOTIONS:

From time to time Lambert Cleaning may offer special promotions / pricing / coupons for offerings. Below are general guidelines applicable to those promotions unless otherwise noted on the promotional media. Additional fees may apply. 

  • All offer, coupon, special or promotion may be subject to additional terms and conditions
  • May not be combined with any other offer, coupon, special or promotion.
  • Appoints required for any service (occasionally last minute appointments are available).
  • Cancellation Policy applies to all promotions / offers and promotional product may be subject to revocation if policy is broken.
  • Offers / Promotions may not be redeemable for cash value.
  • Coupon must be presented & collected to receive promotional pricing.
  • Services must be claimed during single visit at same residence, Limit 1 coupon per household per visit.
  • Promotional pricing includes services 40 miles from Lambert Cleanings’, “2434 W. Beverley Street, Staunton, VA 24401”.
  • Offers / Promotions include residential property up to 2,500 square foot.
  • All offers expire within 30 days of issue unless otherwise noted on promotional material
