What areas of the Shenandoah Valley do you serve?

We serve the central Shenandoah Valley across four counties: Augusta, Rockingham, Rockbridge, Albemarle, and Nelson. Specifically, we clean homes and businesses in Staunton, Waynesboro, Harrisonburg, Lexington, Charlottesville, Fishersville, Stuarts Draft, Verona, Crozet, Bridgewater, and every small town and country road in between. If you're not sure whether we reach you, give us a call and we'll tell you honestly.

Are you licensed, insured, and bonded?

Yes. Lambert Cleaning is licensed, carries full general liability insurance, and is bonded. We also carry workers' compensation for our W-2 employees, which means you're not liable if one of our technicians is injured on your property.

Are your employees background-checked?

Yes. Every Lambert employee is W-2 (never a contractor), background-checked, and trained by us before they're ever sent to a customer's home alone. Most of our team has been with the company for years.

Do I need to supply anything?

No. Every product, tool, vacuum, cloth, and piece of equipment is already on the Lambert truck. We've been refining our product stack since 2012 and we bring what we need for the job. The only thing we ask is that you mention any surfaces that need special treatment (antique furniture, newly installed floors, etc.).

Do I need to be home during cleaning?

You can be, but you don't have to be. Most of our recurring customers give us a door code or a key once they trust us. Every Lambert technician is fully insured, background-checked, and trustworthy in an empty home.

How does pricing work?

Most services are priced based on the size of the job (square footage, number of rooms, number of windows, etc.) and the scope (standard, deep, move-out). We give you a specific number up front through our free quote form, and that number doesn't change unless the scope changes.

Do you offer recurring service?

Yes - most of our maintenance cleaning customers are on a weekly, BiWeekly, TriWeekly, or monthly schedule. Once you're on the schedule, we come automatically on your chosen day. Recurring customers also get priority booking for specialty services like carpet, soft washing, and windows.

What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card, debit card, check, and electronic payment. Most recurring customers set up automatic billing after the first visit so they never have to think about it. Residential invoices are due upon receipt. Business accounts can set up Net-15 invoicing.

What if I'm not happy with a cleaning?

We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Tell us before we leave and we'll fix it on the spot - that's why we walk through every job with the customer at the end. If something comes up after we've left, call within 24 hours and we'll come back at no charge. We've built the whole company on resolving issues on-site, not after the fact.

How do I refer a friend?

Our Refer a Friend program is simple: when a friend books with us, both of you get $25 off. Your friend gets it on their first service, you get it on your next service. No limit on the number of friends you can refer.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes. Request a gift certificate through our site and we'll create it the same business day. A cleaning is a genuinely nice gift for new parents, anyone in a move, or anyone you love.
